United Nations Children’s Fund
The United Nations Children’s Fund, originally known as the UN Children’s Emergency Fund, is responsible for the provision of humanitarian and developmental aid to children globally. It works with underprivileged children and adolescents across more than 190 countries, protecting their rights, and helping them survive and reach their full potential. UNICEF is also responsible for providing vaccines and supporting child health and well-being and focuses on nutrition, sanitation, and cleanliness, as well as improving the quality of education. UNICEF is majorly responsible for supplying life-saving aid during and post humanitarian crises.
