United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime
The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime resolves to contribute to world peace, health, and security by working on matters concerning drugs, crime, corruption, and terrorism. It focuses on the trafficking and abuse of illicit drugs, crime prevention and criminal justice, international terrorism, and political corruption. It aims to strengthen international cooperation in these areas. The UNODC is highly active in a lot of conflict areas and has achieved a lot since its inception in the war against crime and drugs.
AGENDA:
Addressing the issue of rising drug abuse, gang wars and gun violence with special emphasis on drug abuse within minors and school shootings.
